ASK - the Newham Service User Involvement project

Hestia is proud to facilitate ASK, a user led mental health service in Newham.  ASK stands for A Service Keen to listen and get involved.  ASK feeds back to the Mental Health Partnership Board on the design and delivery of services and they meet monthly to look at up and coming issues in the Borough. 

ASK looks at innovative ways of involving users throughout the Borough in user led activities with respect to mental health to ensure people are aware and informed of changes to services. 

ASK is open to all service users in the Borough of Newham aged between 18-65.

Hestia help to conduct a number of other activities in the Borough for mental health service users such as IT and employment sessions, a mens group, public speaking workshops, self esteem groups and a number of other activities that vary from month to month.
