Young people's services

Hestia provides accommodation based support for young people who need our help; aged between 16 & 21, at our St Stephens Road project in Hounslow.

A team of experienced staff support the young people in many areas including:

Budgeting
College placements
Personal development and
Paid / voluntary work.

The ultimate aim is to enable them to move to their own home & live independently.

The St Stephens Road project provides 10 places (8 generous rooms with shared facilities & 2 self contained flats). It has a communal lounge, a laundry, a large kitchen, an I.T. suite and a spacious garden.

Close relationships are maintained with groups and organisations such as; Connexions (the Government’s support service for young people), the Youth Offending Service, Social Services, the Local Education Authority and the housing department.

Key-workers meet regularly with their clients to monitor their progress and review their support needs.

Specially trained Support Workers can offer support in areas such as sexual health & anger management.
